Classic, 46 foot Heritage West Indies, commissioned in 1978 in Clearwater, Florida. A Charlie Morgan design.
"Alma Mia" is a fully equipped cruising sailboat with a 6 foot draft and a 15 foot beam. The sail configuration is a cutter rig which can be modified to a sloop. 2 staterooms & 2 heads. Both heads have showers and the master stateroom has a separate shower. Large galley with new refrigeration unit in 2010. 3 burner stove & oven. Dual bowl stainless steel sink. Pressure water system plumbed for hot water tank with engine heating. Spacious center cockpit. Updated forward port lights & hatches throughout. Large engine room with dual access for easy maintenance. The engine was rebuilt in 2005 and is a diesel Perkins 4-236. 140 gal. fuel capacity.170 gal water capacity Spectra Watermaker , with 2 separate pumps. If one fails the other takes over or they can be operated together. Manufacturer claims 2 pumps operated together to produce 17 gallons per hour. Raymarine 7000 autopilot WH autopilot model P-3 used on many commercial boats (featured in Practical Sailor as the best.) ST-40 Depth Sounder Ratheon R21/21X Radar ICOM-728729 50 mg transceiver. Standard GX1250S transceiver VHF Boat is wired for 110 and 220 the battery charger will operate on either voltage, engine is equipped with a 125 amp hour double belted alternator with a smart charger regulator and Zantrex Link 2 battery monitor, which monitors condition of 2 battery banks. It has a 1750 ProWatt Inverter. New Epirb 2009 6 man Switlik liferaft, new 2009 Portable Color GPS/chartplotter, new 2011 Yamaha Enduro 8hp outboard engine new in 2001
Lifelines replaced in 2010. There is a really nice professionally built custom life rail encompassing the back 1/2 of the boat for greater safety. This rail is integrated with the davits & has a large custom stainless swim ladder that swings up out of the way & can be used on either side of the boat. A stainless custom liferaft mount.
