It is equipped with a powerful 55,000 BTU chiller system, making it well-suited for operation in high-temperature southern latitudes. The interior showcases rich mahogany woodwork that contrasts elegantly with light upholstery, while the exterior utilizes low-maintenance synthetic teak and holly decking.

Exterior Design and Deck Features

The Vertess 420 Coupe exhibits several innovative exterior design elements that enhance usability and comfort. A standout feature is the hydraulic swim platform, which lowers to water level while simultaneously raising steps from the port side for easy cockpit access. These steps include a grab handle for safety and can be positioned flush with the teak surface when in the race position. On the starboard side, a reboarding ladder is complemented by removable grab handles. The cockpit is accessible from both port and starboard sides and features maintenance-free Dura-Deck decking that resists heat absorption. An expandable teak pedestal table with adjustable levers allows the table and adjacent seats to be repositioned in numerous configurations, including an optional extension. Above the cockpit, a private sunning area includes a double-wide sun pad measuring six feet across, surrounded by bulwarks and rails for safety, along with drink holders, speakers, and courtesy lights. The sun pad is fixed in position, though an elevating chaise lounge option would enhance comfort and water views. Additionally, the bow offers a sizable sun pad measuring 6'10" by 7'6", also fixed in place but similarly benefiting from a potential chaise lounge adjustment. Access to the sunning area is facilitated by a ladder with alternating wider treads, allowing for a steeper but user-friendly climb.

Interior Living Spaces

The main deck features a single-level layout that seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor living spaces, enhanced by a set of glass doors that can open in multiple configurations: single width, double, or a full 5'4" triple opening. Inside, the salon benefits from a generous 6'7" overhead clearance, creating an open and airy atmosphere. To starboard, an L-shaped seating area surrounds a pedestal table that expands for dining and can be lowered via a switch to convert into a coffee table or even a berth. Natural light enters through a hull-side window. The starboard guest stateroom mirrors the port side layout but offers a slightly more complex and user-friendly overhead geometry. It also features twin berths that can be combined into one and benefits from hull-side windows. Additional storage is available beneath the stairway, which can accommodate an optional washer and dryer combination.
