Information About You and Your Visits to the Website

All information we collect on this Website is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using the Website, you consent to all actions taken by us with respect to your information in compliance with the Privacy Policy.

Online Purchases and Other Terms and Conditions

All purchases through our site or other transactions for the sale of goods carried out through the Website, or resulting from visits made by you, are subject to the following terms:

a. Buyers

  1. Due Diligence. As a buyer, it is imperative that you conduct thorough due diligence on any boat listing before making a purchase. This includes verifying the boat’s condition, history, and any claims made by the seller. We recommend obtaining a professional inspection and reviewing all available documentation related to the boat’s maintenance and ownership history.
  2. Disclaimers. Please be aware that while we strive to ensure the accuracy of listings, we do not guarantee the condition or specifications of any boat listed on our platform. All information provided in listings is the responsibility of the seller, and we disclaim any liability for inaccuracies or omissions. Buyers are encouraged to independently verify all details before proceeding with a purchase. All contracts for purchase and sale of marine vessels are independently entered into between the buyer and seller and MarineSource is not a party to any such contract. MarineSource will not be liable or responsible for any amount under any theory of liability for harm or damages arising out of the purchase of a marine vessel.
  3. Dispute Resolution. In the event of a dispute with a seller, buyers should first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the seller. If a resolution cannot be reached, buyers may contact our support team for assistance. However, in no instance are we responsible for resolving a dispute, nor will we be liable for a failed transaction.
  4. Financing and Insurance. For high-value purchases, securing appropriate financing and insurance is crucial. Buyers should consult with financial institutions to explore financing options and ensure that they have adequate insurance coverage for their purchase.

b. Sellers

  1. Accurate Listings. Sellers are required to provide accurate and truthful information in all boat listings. This includes, but is not limited to, the boat’s condition, specifications, and any known defects. Misrepresentation of a boat’s condition or features may result in legal action and removal from our platform.
  2. Legal Obligations. Sellers must comply with all legal obligations related to the sale of boats, including providing clear title and registration. It is the seller’s responsibility to ensure that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate before finalizing a sale. MarineSource is not responsible for approving, reviewing, or finalizing any contracts between buyer and seller, is not a party to any such contracts, and will have no liability whatsoever to either party in connection with the purchase of a marine vessel.
  3. Handling Buyer Disputes and Returns. In the event of a buyer dispute, sellers are expected to engage in good faith negotiations to resolve the issue. Sellers should be prepared to accept returns or provide remedies in accordance with applicable laws and our platform’s policies.
  4. Secure Transactions. Sellers should consider taking additional precautions to ensure security for payment. This includes verifying the identity of the buyer and using secure payment methods. Sellers are encouraged to consult with legal and financial advisors to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
