"Prudence" a Sabre 402 is a rare find on the West Coast. This Maine Built gem, designed by renowned naval architect Jim Talor, perfectly balances exhilarating racer-cruiser performance with easy shorthanded sailing abilities. Named Cruising Worlds's Overall Boat Of The Year (1997), Prudence is a guaranteed head turner.
Prudence's traditional, stiff laminated bulkhead hull design delivers exceptional stability, safety, and speed. She carries a generous beam well aft providing excellent stability and interior volume while maintaining impressive sailing characteristics. This vessel is ideal for those sailors who want a balance of craftmanship, comfort and sailing speed.
Prudence's interior shows like a new boat with beautifully finished Cherry and Chrome fixtures. She is nicely arranged for 2 cruising couples. The teak and holly floors and the cherry interior are in excellent condition and look gorgeous. All of the interior lights with the exception of the reading lights are now LEDs. You can't pull into a harbor without someone saying WOW, what a beautiful boat.
