The vessel appears to be in excellent shape and was hailed by the Cruising World publication as the "Best Production Cruiser Under $200,000: Hunter 356 in 2001.

Starting aft is a walkthrough transom when the swim ladder is down. To port is a large lazarette with storage and batteries. To starboard is the hatch over owner's stateroom. Amid ships is the pedestal with wheel, engine controls, instrumentation displays and folding table. Forward is the companionway and stairs, with Yanmar 27 hp engine below. The main salon has a toilet/shower and wet locker to port, a sit-down nav station with electrical panels, stereo, VHF and autopilot remote. Next is the settee with storage above and the door to the private V-berth cabin with lockers on both sides of the V-berth. On starboard aft of the stairs is the door to the owner's private stateroom with a large locker to starboard,
Farther forward is the galley with a double stainless steel sink, refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave and trash bin. Forward of this is the U-shaped settee with a folding table with storage in the table and above the settee, followed by the door to the forward stateroom already described
