A popular model for many years, the Wellcraft 3400 Grand Sport is built on an easy-riding modified V-hull with average beam and 16° of deadrise at the transom. Aside from he attractive lines, the chief attraction of the Grand Sport is her wide open floorplan â a feature made possible by the absence of any structural bulkheads. The original floorplan (with an offset double berth forward) was replaced in 1990 with a more contemporary (and colorful) layout with a centerline companionway and an island bed forward. In 1988 a bolt-on swim platform was added. In 1990 the Grand Sport was again updated on the outside on the outside with new hull graphics and a stylish white-on-white console. A good running boat with plenty of cockpit seating.
