Designed by Garry Hoyt and built by TPI the Manta Clipper was conceived to change several shortcomings of the conventional sailboat. The two primary concerns addressed were to reduce the amount of heel and increase boat speed both under power and sail. Hoyt's Manta designed easily accomplished the primary concerns and also gave some added benefits: Probably the best cockpit you will ever find on a 34' sailboat, a great awning system for sun protection, easy boarding through the transom, and extremely easy sail handling. This boat has been professionaly maintained since it's original purchase and comes with two self tacking sails (one owner only).
