Every now and then we list a Shannon that looks like it was placed in a time capsule 5 decades ago - no wear and tear, almost all original equipment, no signs of bad owner/boat yard work, etc. These Shannons always look like the owner decided "I have the perfect boat and I am not going to change a thing. If anything wears out or gets old, like the rigging, sails, or engine, then I will have a good boat yard replace it." Then on top of that the owner has lightly used the boat for all those years while lavishing careful maintenance. The 1980 Shannon 28 "Paws" is one of those boats. When you inspect this Shannon 28, it will feel like you have gone back in time to when "Paws" was brand new, and you might even hear the soundtrack for "Saturday Night Live" playing in the background.
