The Hunter 336 is known for its comfortable cockpit, airy feel belowdecks, and ease of sailing. It performs well in light air and is fun to sail in all conditions. Paper Chase is a one owner boat that spent its first 25 years in freshwater. It has been well maintained and has many upgrades, including:
- All running rigging replaced 2022.
- Rolling fulling system for Jib/Genoa replaced 2022.
- New Sails (Doyle) 2023.
- Bilge Pump replaced 2023.

The large, almost round cockpit seats 6-8 and also has two stern rail seats. The mainsheet traveler is just in front of the helm, making for easy trimming from helm or cockpit seats. Lines are led aft, under a bridge deck, for ease of sail handling and clean decks. There is a large transom with swim platform, storage lockers, shower, and passage into the cockpit. There is a new Garmin chartplotter for navigation. The sails, standing rigging, and running rigging are all new.
Down below is bright and airy with newly refinished teak veneer cabin sole. The main salon is wide and spacious, with a large u shaped settee to port and an open V-berth cabin with curtains. The aft cabin has an oversized Queen bunk and plenty of storage. The galley has a double burner gimballed stove, two sinks, ice box, ample storage, and built in glass and cup rack. Across form the Galley is a nice sized head with shower. The water lines and water heater are new.
