Accommodations
The Stevens 47s are built with full teak interiors with teak and holly soles. Venilation and natural light is superb with 14 opening ports with screens and six opening hatches. There are also three large dorade vents. Artificial lighting is equally generous with several overhead dome lights as well as reading lights at each berth and the settees. All cushions except the 2nd guest s/r were replaced in 01' and are high density foam 5" thick. 3 twelve volt fans.
Starting forward is the first of two guest staterooms featuring a V-berth style bunk with access to the chain locker at the foot there is a stowage shelf over and there are lockers and drawers under. Aft, at the head of the berth there are lockers and shelves P&S while aft on the berths there are hanging lockers.
Next aft to port is the second guest stateroom with over and under type berths with stowage drawers under the lower berths and a large hanging locker aft.
Opposite to starboard is the guest head with separate shower area (shower is currently disconnected), large vanity and stowage areas and manual W.C., stainless steel sink with pressure H&C water.
The main salon is a very spacious area with a generous L-settee to port with large pedestal mount table. Behind the seat backs are large stowage areas and above the seat back is a pilot berth. Opposite to starboard is a straight pullout double settee with stowage behind the seatback and a large stowage shelf above. Upholstery in the salon is Hunter Green Ultra-suede.
Aft of the starboard settee is the forward facing Nav. Station with flip up style chart, stowage cubbies, navigation electronics and the yacht's electrical distribution panels.
Next aft on the starboard side is the walk thru type head with ensuite shower, generous vanity and stowage. There is a stainless steel sink with H&C pressure water and manaul W.C.
The Master Stateroom encompasses the entire stern of the yacht and features the Plan B layout with oversized double to port and a single to starboard. There is bin stowage below the berths and a bureau between along with a dressing seat. Stowage abounds with a hanging locker to starboard, numerous shelves and lockers on C/L on the fwd bulkhead and a large stowage locker with shelves and additional drawers to port.

Galley
The Galley is a walk thru type and runs along the port side. Both stowage and counter space is excellent. Outboard there is a large top loading refrigerator and separate freezer compartment, both with Sea Frost holding plates, forward of which is the three burner gimballed propane stove with oven with additional stowage and counter space further fwd. The owner has made up a clever work station with vice that can be mounted here. Inboard is addtional stowage and counter space as well as the deep stainless steel double basin sinks with pressure H&C water, manual fresh and manual salt water pumps.
Cockpit
Large center cockpit provides ample seating for a large sailing party, wind depth and speed instruments mount over the companionway, seats are clad with teak. Teak folding table mounts to the pedestal guard. Yacht Specialties pedestal wheel steering with 6" pedestal mounted compass. The Raytheon radar has a 2nd cable that allows its being repositioned to the cockpit, under the dodger but with good viewability from the helm.

Electrical
Wired for both 12 Volt DC and 110 Volt AC service, distribution panels for both systems with breakers, battery selector switch, 2 banks of Group 31 batteries (3 house, 1 engine start) all batteries are deep cycle plus 2 6VDC deep cycle golf cart batteries wired in series for the inverter and 1 additional 12 volt battery mounted forward for the windlass. The system is charged from a 120 amp Balmar Alternator and there is a Heart 3 stage voltage regulator. The breaker panel is fitted with both amp and volt meters as well as a battery condition indicator. A Heart Freedom 2000 Watt inverter is fitted and also has the 100 amp battery charger.
11 Volt system includes a panel with breakers, amp meter and volt meter. There are 110 volt outlets throughout and power to the water heater. There are 3 30 amp 50' cord for dock connection and a 50 amp adapter.

Solid one piece fiberglass hull of hand laid mat and roving, with four longitudinal stringers P&S. Hull was awlgripped white in the fall of 98'. Red boot top. Molded in cove stripe. Stainless steel cap on 3" mahogany rub rail. Bottom was barrier coated 89' and each year the owner has carefully sanded down the old bottom paint without compromising the barrier coat and then re-applied. The bottom is exceptionally smooth and fair.
Decks are partially airex cored with solid glass in high stress areas with molded in contrasting non-skid in a lt. grey.
Double stainless steel stanchions and lifelines with gates P&S, Double stainless bow and stern rails with stainless boarding/swim ladder at the stern. Two large lazarettes aft and large anchor locker forward. Aluminum extrusion toe rail, vertical capstan anchor electric windlass with chain and line capstans and sep. batteries.
