PIlothouse yachts have long been popular with northern boaters for their weather protected inside helm. Recent years, however, have seen the popularity of these boats on the increase in warmer climates where many have realized the strictly business appearance of a raised pilothouse design as well as her all weather cruising capabilities.
The Sea Ranger 47 was built on a solid fiberglass semi-displacement hull with a relatively narrow beam, flat aftersections and a full length prop protecting keel. Her 3 stateroom interior features a roomy full width midships master stateroom with walkaround berth,a guest cabin forward with upper/lower bunks and a 2nd guest stateroom in the bow featuring a double berth offset to portside. The boat has 2 heads, one with shower stall and the second with marine head/vanity. ( NOTE: Main head has been replaced and 2nd head rebuilt and sanitation lines replaced) .

Broker Comments:
Looking for a Spacious, Economical Go-Anywhere Trawler? You've Found Her in "R time". Here we have a 45 year old triple cabin Raised Pilothouse trawler. does she need some TLC and updating ? Of course as does any boat of this vintage however, she is sound, has been continually updated by current owners who have owned her since 2017. Mechanically and structurally she is very sound has a nicely laid out interior and pilothouse and is very clean inside/out with no 'boaty odors". She does have some spongy areas at the step up to Flybridge helm area (typical of this model but no evidence inside of any significant leak issues and/or mold/mildew. R-Time is is a serious, sea worthy long range cruiser or liveaboard with a fantastic interior layout for extended cruises or living aboard. You could move onboard tomorrow and "set sail". If you are handy around a boat, paintwork etc. can probably be done by you on windy days. take a look . . . You won;'t be sorry in this size/price range ! !
NOTE: She needs to be painted on the topsides, Her exterior brightwork needs to be renewed, Canvas on Bridge Bimini tops need replacement.
