Letsee II's current, and only owner, employed expert custom boat designer Karl Stambaugh of Chesapeake Marine Designs to develop a trawler/tug plan where Sea Island Boat works (South Carolina) could build a vessel that would not only utilize the best materials but keeping in mind a safe cruising boat for a couple or small family. Karl did exactly that. Letsee II was then built with a separate pilothouse, roomy cockpit (excellent fishing platform) and exquisite stateroom, all powered by a 54HP Yanmar diesel engine that sips, not guzzles, only one GPH while moving along at 7 knots.
