This 49ft DeFever RPH is designed for self-sufficient long range and offshore cruising in safety and comfort, as well as a comfortable home at the dock. Patient Lady is equipped with five boarding doors for easy access in different dock configurations. This 49ft DeFever has an impressive nautical appearance at sea as well at the dock. This vessel is well equipped and exceptionally maintained by owners who have enjoyed 4yrs of trouble free cruising. She was a freshwater boat from 2005-2011, but now travels from fresh to saltwater and around.
Hull is fiberglass with a deep keel that protects massive running gear. All deck hardware, cleats, chocks, rails, anchor roller and portlights are stainless steal. Dark blue striping highlights the white superstructure and the fresh bottom job (Sep. 2025) is blue. The interior is teak joinery throughout, with tempered glass on all doors and windows. Exterior windows are aluminum and lightly tinted except the forward pilothouse windows. All ceiling lights are Vetus solid brass. A huge attraction is the Portuguese Bridge to keep you drier on a turbulent crossing and an extended hardtop over aft cockpit.
Twin SP135 Ford Lehman diesels, freshwater cooled, stainless steel exhaust elbows with oversized raw water pumps. Fuel consumption is approximately 4 1/2 gph at 8kts cruising speed with a maximum speed of 10 1/2kts at 2250 rpms.
Transmissions-Borg Warner velvet drive with 2.5/1 reduction gear. 2 in. drive shafts with dripless shaft seals. Spare drive shaft with 2 spare props.
Engine room lined with sound absorbing acoustic tile. All tanks, running gear, thru hulls, etc. ground bonded. All batteries in fiberglass containers. Head clearance approximately 5ft.
Four 8D starting / house batteries. 4D starting battery for Generator. Automatic battery charger system for all battery banks.
Automatic fire extinguisher system.
120v AC 50 amp dockside power, (2 locations) port and starboard. Two 50 amp dockside cables (one 25ft and another at 50ft). Assorted dockside pigtails.
Galvanic isolator.
2000 watt inverter (2018) with four 6 volt golf cart batteries, maintained by a separate alternator while traveling or inverter alone at anchor. Will operate lights,refrigerator, microwave, and outlets without starting the generator.
SLEEPING
Master stateroom comes with a queen size bed with storage underneath. 2 night stands, 2 closets and dressing table with mirror. VIP stateroom is equipped with single cross over berths, large hanging closet and storage drawers. Pilothouse comes with a watch berth, and a table and seat that also converts to berth. Salon equipped with a sleeper sofa.
HEADS
Master: Raritan electric head (new 2024), combination tub and shower, vanity with storage. VIP: Raritan electric head (new 2024), hand held shower, vanity with storage, ceramic tile walls. Also, the Raritan Lectrasan treatment system is a plus along with the macerator pumps for overboard discharge when appropriate.
Full size Kenmore stainless refrigerator/freezer (2011). Jennair electric range, 4 burner with self cleaning oven. Sharp Carousel Microwave, Toaster, and a Braun coffee maker.
Counter top is ceramic tile with porcelain sink with single lever faucet. 2 large pantries and ample drawer space.
