The Sabre 38 MK1 tradional layout has accommodations for 6 in two cabins with standing headroom of 6'3" throughout. The forward cabin has 2 6'6" v-berths plus large storage compartments including drawers and lockers. Aft to port is a spacious head with separate shower, toilet (new discharge hoses 2002) with holding tank, stainless steel sink, hot and cold pressure water and plenty of storage space. The head separate entrances from forward cabin and main salon. Opposite the head are wet and dry hanging lockers. The main cabin has port and starboard settees. Starboard settee is straight and port side is an L-settee that converts to a wide double berth. Both berths are 6'6" long. Storage is found beneath and out board of both settees. The bulkhead mounted table provides storage for magazines and storage. The U-shaped galley is next aft on port side which has a Formica countertop with teak trim, a gimballed three burner CNG stove/oven, deep double stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressure water (water filter on cold water side), foot pedal cold water pump, built in waste basket, and plenty of storage in lockers and drawers. Jabsco Pressure Water Pump and Accumulator Tank new 2002. The full sit down nav station is across from the galley with a large quarter berth aft. The interior is hand-crafted in oiled teak, with vanished teak and holly cabin sole. The yacht is nicely appointed with beige upholstery and curtains.
Electrical System
New (2002) DC electrical charging system. Balmar 90 amp High Output Alternator with Balmar Max Charge Multi-Stage Marine Regulator. Heart Interface Link 10 Battery Monitor Meter. House batteries totaling 250 amps plus separate diesel cranking battery. The cranking battery is isolated from house bank and charged by a Heart Interface Digital Echo Charger. THe 110 volt AC system includes a shore power cord and connectors.

Hull color is white with blue boot top and cove stripe. CQR 35 lb anchor on bow roller. Powerwinch Windless. Shurflo Wash-Down Pump with faucet in achor locker (2001). Four hatches and six dorad vents with Martec Vents (2001) plus eight opening ports. Screens throughout. Exterior teak completely refinished with Cetol (2002). 2 fire extinguishers plus automatic discharge extinguisher in engine compartment. 12v searchligh with outlet at helm.
