Manufacturer Provided Description
Every new model in Riviera's long and successful 25-year history of building Flybridge Convertible cruisers features refinements and innovations. It's the quiet revolution. Sleek dynamic and elegant but never ostentatious. The Riviera 47 Series II is a beautiful expression of our approach to innovation. It is a marriage of form and function, a development and refinement of an already very successful cruiser. Below the waterline, a revolution in design has been developed by one of the world's leading naval architects, Frank Mulder. He has created a running surface that delivers performance that can only be described as sensational. The most notable feature of this hull is two pockets housing the propeller shafts in the aft section to deliver superior forward thrust, resulting in higher top speed and better fuel economy.
Accommodations
The 47' Riviera is laid out with the master stateroom forward with an island queen sized berth. There are several storage bins on the sides of the cabin, drawers and a large storage locker under the berth, storage locker to port, and hanging lockers to port and starboard. Aft and to port a door provides private access to this stateroom's ensuite head. This head features a Vacuflush toilet (with tank watch), vanity, and a generous sized separate stall shower. Amidships and to starboard is the VIP guest stateroom with a double berth. There is a hanging locker fwd and several other storage compartments. Forward, a door provides private access to the guest/day with Vacuflush toilet, vanity and shower. Across the companionway is the third stateroom with two bunks, a hanging locker, other storage compartments and ships laundry.
Four steps up and to port is the mid-level galley with under counter drawer style refrigerators and freezers, two burner electric cook-top, microwave/convection oven and a drawer style dishwasher. There is a good deal of storage and a hatch in the floor accesses a very large storage area.
In the salon there is an "L" shaped dinette in the forward stbd corner with leather upholstery. Aft and to port is an ââ¬ÅLââ¬ï¿½ shaped leather settee with matching ottoman. Along the stbd side of the cabin is a wet-bar with its own refrigerator/icemaker. A 32ââ¬ï¿½ LCD TV sits on top.
In the starboard side overhead there is a hidden rod storage locker that opens electrically. This has been fitted with custom made rod holders. The salon windows are fitted with pull down blinds. The boat is fitted with upgraded carpet and fabrics from the factory.
A swinging door on the starboard side of the aft bulkhead provides access to the large cockpit. there you will find a teak laid floor, side steps and salon entry step. There are storage cabinets under the coaming all around the cockpit and a large storage area and fish box under the deck. A sink with hot and cold water is on the forward bulkhead along with a freezer cabinet which runs off of its own compressor in the engineroom. To port is a set of engine controls and a bow thruster control. Overhead is a Raymarine display for all electronics functions and camera displays. The sink swings out of the way to provide access to the engine room. On the transom there is a glass sided bait tank with built in pump and lights and a door leading to the teak laid swim platform.
The tournament style flybridge has an aft helm station with a nicely laid out panel for the two Raymarine displays. To starboard, and forward of the console, is an ââ¬ÅLââ¬ï¿½-shaped settee with table. To port is a fore and aft oriented bench seat. There is a 12V refrigerator and sink with hot and cold water on the port side of the bridge. A great deal of storage is provided under the console and seats and in the forward flybridge coaming. The flybridge is carpeted and protected from the elements by a hardtop and full enclosure. The bridge has electric heat along with a ââ¬ÅRed-Dotââ¬ï¿½ style heater with two defrost outlets on the windshield. This boat features a custom acrylic windshield, called MR10, that is like Plexiglas (it will gently curve along the contours of the front of the flybridge, but is hard enough to not be scratched by windshield wipers.) There are two wipers installed. A locking hatch on the F/B stairs provides safety and security.
