The M42 grew out of the success of the M36, keeping the elegant simplicity and ease of single-handed sailing and adding standing headroom and more amenities for coastal cruising. With her large cockpit and open interior layout she handles a group of friends and family sailing for the day. BOADICEA is equipped with a full galley, head and shower, a master berth and two
single berths, making her perfect for a couple or small family for overnights and
coastal cruising. Her Sparkman & Stephens design and Morris Yachts heirloom quality craftmanship create timeless appeal for multiple generations.
Originally commissioned by an experienced yachtsman moving up from an M36, BOADICEA was extensively customized during her build. She has been meticulously maintained over the years and with recent updates including:
- New Leisurefurl Boom (2024)
- New North full batten main sail (2024)
- New house batteries (2023)
- New Mastervolt inverter/charger (2023)
- Recent strip and redo of the exterior brightwork (updated spring 2026)
- New B&G charplotter and radar (2024)
Currently inside a heated building at Great Island Boat Yard, BOADICEA is getting ready for her spring launch and is easy to view.
Please note - photos are older but reflect current condition except for the recent addition of a Leisurefurl furling boom. Photos will be updated when the boat is launched in May
