Broker's Comment
WINDWALKER is one of the highly respected Seguin 44/46 series of yachts designed by S&S and built of glass by Lyman Morse. This yacht has had only 2 owners and both have given her excellent care, often at the builders yard. Her second owner did a significant refit when they bought her in 1999. They took off for 2 years and sailed her from Maine through the Caribbean and the Panama Canal to New Zealand. She was later shipped back to the USA on the Dry Dock Express vessel. She has only been lightly day sailed since her return in 2003. The yacht was not launched in 2008 and remained inside her winter storage shed.
She is for sale because the owners now have a very busy lifestyle and therefore are unable to really use her.
The owners have put a very aggressive asking price on WINDWALKER to attract attention and to hopefully ensure a spring 2009 sale so that someone will have the pleasure of sailing this classic blue water cruiser / club racer this summer. WINDWALKER is ready to either cruise the east coast or venture across any and all oceans in safety and comfort.
