AVVENTURA is a serious cruising yacht in the truest sense of the term. She is a German Frers designed Hylas 46, built to take a couple comfortably and confidently offshore, while remaining manageable for owner operators who want simplicity, reliability, and secure deck ergonomics. Her center cockpit and raised deck saloon deliver the two things long range owners value most: a safe working cockpit in real weather, and a bright elevated living space with excellent visibility and airflow when you are anchored out for weeks at a time.
The Hylas 46 earned her reputation by getting the fundamentals right. The hull form is fast enough to cover miles efficiently, but more importantly it is steady and predictable at sea. The deck layout is practical and secure, with wide side decks, thoughtful handholds, and a cockpit designed to work underway. Systems access is exceptionally good for a yacht in this class, including companionway ladder and panel access that provides direct reach to key service points, along with robust, service friendly filtration. This is the kind of boat that is meant to be maintained properly and cruised, not tolerated between marina weekends.
AVVENTURA's story is equally compelling. Originally launched as EXUBERANCE, she began life under a first owner who used the yacht in freshwater and primarily for day sailing and entertaining. The second owner took ownership in 2020. The current seller is AVVENTURA's third owner, having purchased her in 2022, and has continued the same standard of care with seasonal winter use in Southwest Florida and The Bahamas.
Professional oversight has been a constant. AVVENTURA has been maintained by Hinckley Yacht Services, visited monthly by yacht management to turn and run equipment and ensure systems remain in top working order, and kept fully detailed and regularly waxed. She also benefits from routine monthly diver cleanings.
Where AVVENTURA stands apart is that the heavy lift projects and meaningful modernization have already been done. Standing rigging was replaced in 2024. In 2023 she received a Mack Sails high clew Yankee and a matching removable Mack Sails staysail. At Hinckley Yacht Services, AVVENTURA received a new Victron MultiPlus inverter/charger, new Lifeline and Northstar AGM batteries, a dripless shaft seal, a Vetus 24V bow thruster with joystick helm control, and a drive shaft line cutter. Engine and generator service was completed in November 2025. Air conditioning was serviced in 2026 and a new dodger was installed in 2026. Add Kato davits with tender and outboard, a Forespar aluminum carbon fiber whisker pole, an all purpose cruising spinnaker, and refreshed interior and cockpit soft goods, and you have a Hylas 46 positioned to cruise now, not after the next yard period.
