Owners Comments and Boat History

Cumbia has been owned by the same owner since new. From the beginning, he has approached her maintenance and care without compromising on cost, with professional maintenance and continued investment in her systems, equipment and appearance.

For her owner, Cumbia's condition has always been personal. He considers the way the yacht is maintained and presented to be a direct reflection of his own standards and has treated her accordingly throughout his ownership.

That philosophy has continued as the yacht has matured. Rather than allowing equipment to age indefinitely, significant systems have continued to be renewed and upgraded, including a new mast, North 3Di Ocean sail inventory and Fisher Panda generator in 2023, along with substantial electrical, navigation and cruising-system upgrades.

After more than 3 decades with her original owner, Cumbia's history is defined by continuity of ownership, ongoing maintenance and continued reinvestment.
