Bill Hardin, best known for being a pioneer of the Taiwanese boat building industry for the American market, first designed this vessel as the BOUNTY 44, and in its final form became the VOYAGER 45.
This is a heavy displacement blue-water boat particularly well set up for cruising in comfort with sleek, characteristic style.
The boats were built between 1977 and 1982 in the TA SHING Yard in Taiwan. The have always been noted for high quality construction with excellent structural integrity and beautiful teak joinery work on the interior.
A total of 130 BOUNTY 44 and VOYAGER 45s were built in the late-1970s and into the mid-1980s.
