Excellent vessel for long range cruising, liveaboard or charter. Two staterooms, two heads, a large salon area and a full galley provide a very comfortable living area. The aft stateroom has a centerline walkaround queen with ensuite head and large shower.
Recent reviews of this vessel indicated the following: seaworthy, comfortable, fast passage maker and built like a tank, stiff boat, with high freeboard keeps you dry in most conditions, moderately heavy displacement helps keep you stable for wakes, at anchor and heavy chops, all hardware oversized and strong, aluminum toerail with slots-very convenient, boarding ladder on transom, ability to carry vast stores of provisions, hardware, spare props, water, etc, cavernous aft locker,
The 45' Gulfstar has very sturdy rigging with a 55' mast stepped on the keel. It is a single spreader rig with both forward and aft lower shrouds providing more than ample support. The life lines are 27" high which gives an extra measure of safety. The gunnels are wide and flat which make getting around the deck easy.
