New Aluminum 1/4-inch fuel tanks (550 gallons, approximately 1000-mile range at 8 knots), new shafts, new stuffing boxes etc. Both engines have large, 225amp alternators. Well maintained 12-KW Northern Lights Generator (approximately 4000 hours. 300-gallon fresh water stainless steel water capacity.The Boat has been entirely re-plumbed and rewired (12 volt) including new exhaust hosed, new fuel lines, new sanitary system hoses throughout. A pair of racor dual fuel filters with fuel manifold. Botton has been completely redone with a new barrier coat. Props and shafts are coated with fresh anti-fouling. Cutters on both shafts. 3 new A/C units with updated digital controls, new pump and new plumbing. New holding plates in both fridge and freezer, cooled by dual circuit, 12-volt and 120-volt compressors. all above and below thru hulls have been replaced including strainers. an ICOM SSB (single side band) transmitter including a copper ground plane throughout the boat and grounding plate. A reverso oil changing pump plumbed into both engines and generator. A Seagull freshwater filter system. A custom kayak and paddle board stainless steel rack. A pair of brand new Victron Inverters and a new Nick Jackson davit system to allow single handed lifting of dinghy and outboard together. Included is an 11-foot Caribe with a 25hp Yamaha 2 Stroke engine. A new Maxwell 3500 windless, new electronics etc. Independence includes a 5kw Sea Power unit which provides 5kw while underway or anytime the starboard engine is running. I use it to run my ice maker and 120-volt refrigeration while underway as well as the toaster and microwave when needed. It serves well as an auxiliary generator to supplement the 12kw Northern Lights Generator and can easily run one of the air conditioning units while underway, if desired. 2 spare props are included. The headliners have been replaced with panels. Upper station windshield was replaced with stainless steel and 1/4-inch Lexan. Window shades throughout. Mast hinge updated to stainless steel. Mast and boom recently powder coated white. Swim platform was extended. Main decks have been re-done and re-chalked. Lazarette hatches rebuilt with new teak decking. This Classic Grand Banks has been maintained to the max to cruise the Bahamas and is ready to go including a brand new 12-volt Spectra Newport Watermaker and a Fridgeabar 12-volt/120-volt custom fridge/freezer chest on the bridge with separate battery bank and charging system. 2 new Dometic freshwater heads have been added. Ther are outriggers for fishing and a brand-new entertainment system including a 4k TV and a new Fusion radio interfaced with the 3 new Garmin touchscreen chart plotters. 3 separate stereo speaker system (master cabin, salon and bridge) individually controlled from Garmin's. An AIS Transmitter. 2 video cameras in engine room displayable on all 3-touch screen Garmin's. An ACR twin beam spotlight with dual controls. Dual VHF radios, upper and lower, each with a remote going to the other station. A coast guard certified PA system with fog horns etc. Cell amplifier and BAD BOY Wi-Fi amplifier. A wireless cell phone charger at the upper helm. There is a Globalstar SAT phone wired into an external antenna which can be used to call 911, even when service is not activated. A separate small 12V inverter is wired in to provide low amperage, highly efficient charging at the entertainment center. There are 2 radars, each viewable from both stations, including a rock-solid green phosphor Furuno and a new digital Garmin radar interfaced to the chart plotters. A digital Airmar weather station is interfaced to all Garman displays. A Smirad autopilot interfaced to Garmin's two depth sounders including a deep-water transducer for fishing that can read down to 5000 feet. Several battery monitors and the pair of Victron Inverters are capable of cranking out 240 12volt amps. 6 L16 Trojan batteries are less than a year old and 2 additional 8D's are used on the starboard engine.
