She has clearly benefited from attentive ownership and ongoing maintenance, earning an "Above Average" condition rating in her most recent marine survey conducted in March 2026. The survey noted a recently renewed exterior paint finish, a well-kept teak interior, clean machinery spaces, and numerous system upgrades.

Aegir has enjoyed an active but carefully managed cruising life under her current ownership, spending much of her time exploring the Florida Keys and cruising the Intracoastal Waterway. Rather than sitting idle at the dock, she has been regularly exercised and maintained as a true cruising vessel, benefiting from consistent use and attentive stewardship.

In addition, a professional diver has cleaned the hull and running gear monthly. Above the waterline, the vessel has received routine washdowns approximately every two weeks.

Owned by a FedEx airline pilot with a strong emphasis on safety, preparedness, and systems management, Aegir has been maintained with a philosophy centered on reliability, redundancy, and preventative maintenance.
