This 1974 Grand Banks 50 Europa is the last of 63 Woodies built by Grand Banks, and her current and previous owners have maintained her to an incredibly high standard; as though blessed with an obligation to preserve a national treasure. Canoe Island is the second home to a very knowledgeable and experienced boat owner who searched for over 20 years before finding and buying the best Grand Banks 50 of its era. Come aboard and any expectation that she will be only slightly larger than a Grand Banks 42 or 46 will quickly be dispelled when the reality sets in that Canoe Island is really a small ship! At 60 Gross Tons and 48 Net Tons, powered with twin John Deer 6-Cylinder Naturally-Aspirated 130hp Diesels, and a fuel capacity to yield over a 1,000 mile range, these models have proven to be world cruisers.
