This 2000 Catalina 380 has seen light use under the stewardship of her original owner and this is reflected in her outstanding condition. Under sail she is powered by a fully battened mainsail with a Dutchman Flaking System and a 135% Genoa with a Schaefer 3100 furling system. Her auxiliary power is a 42 HP Westerbeke 42B diesel with only 283 hours of use. She has an 18" three blade fixed prop and a PSS Dripless shaft seal added in 2009.
The interior of the boat features a forward cabin with its own sink; a very spacious salon that can offer sleeping for three; a roomy aft cabin; both berths have high quality custom mattresses with fitted sheets; carbon monoxide monitors in both cabins; a very clean head with a separate enclosed shower; a full galley; a navigation station with a very comfortable swivel chair; a full set of cushions in excellent condition.
Electronics include a Raytheon RL72RC Radar; a Raytheon RL 70 RC GPS/Chartplotter; Raytheon ST 60 wind, depth and speed instruments; Raytheon ST 5000 Autopilot; ICOM VHF Radio.
Ground tackle includes a Delta #35 with 15" of 5/16 chain and 250' of three strand nylon as well as a Fortress FX-23 with 15' of 5/16 chain and 250' of three strand nylon. Included is an electric Maxwell Freedom 800 Windlass.
