This is a great family weekender or seasonal live aboard. The boat was re-powered with twin 5.7L Crusaders in 2006. Although it is a 31 year old boat it is very livable and runs great. It even has a bar with an automatic ice maker! The current owners have put thousands of dollars into her to insure her mechanical reliability. Here is a list of some of the improvements to the boat in the past few years:
- New AC unit.
- New Holly carbs were installed.
- Oil changed annually.
- New VHF radio.
- New antennas.
- New horn.
- New shower pump.
- New forward bilge pump.
- New fresh water pump.
- 2 new AGM Batteries.
- New strainer for AC unit.
- 2 spare propellers.
- Added flush system to engines.
- Replaced manifolds and risers on both engines.
- Repaired and re-attached all wiring at helm.
- Tune up December 2019 allowed full Engine RPM on both engines.
- New raw water pump port engine.
- New impeller to raw water pump starboard engine.
- Added depth finder transducer.
- Bottom cleaned every 4-6 weeks.
Note: There are a few deficiencies on the boat including the absence of the remote spotlight and an inoperable Westerbeke generator(believed to be repairable), but all in all the boat is a bargain at this price.
