The Hanseat 37' Center Cockpit Sloop Rigged Sailboat built by Asmus KG Yachtweft Germany on the Elbe River in 1984. Built to Lloyds very high specifications similar to Hallberg Rassy. Having had only two owners from new, the two owners have been very conscientious to upkeep this vessel in good condition. The first twenty years of the vessels life was in Canada in fresh water.
The hydraulic cast Iron Keel, (3' 11" - 6' 6" ) makes this an ideal vessel for all ports of call, Particularly suitable for the Bahamas. The unique feature of this dual draft vessel is that it still maintains full tracking control when the keel is in the up position still drawing 3' 11" draft.
