INTREPID is a fine example of this highly regarded, elegant daysailer. Drawn by the late Carl Schumacher and inspired by Nathanael Herreshoff original Alerion, she pairs classic overhangs and a low, elegant sheer with a thoroughly modern underbody that make her quick, balanced, and an absolute joy to sail.The AE28 layout and controls are specifically designed for her to be easily single and double handed while the spacious cockpit will fit up to 6 people comfortably. Below, the interior is warmly finished with varnished teak, offering comfortable accommodations for weekend overnights.

- A shoal-draft keel that opens up thin-water cruising grounds that the deep-keel boats reach.
- In mast furling system for turn-key launch and sail (original mast and boom available)

This 2007 example was built by Tillotson Pearson (TPI). Owner has added multiple new features and provided TLC throughout. Only selling because he is upgrading to the Alerion 33. Other features to note:
