The C&C 30 was considered by many to be C&C's best all-round boat. You can race her and win and enjoy her cruising side because she is a big boat. Big enough to sleep 6 and big enough to offer full 6'2" headroom. Her cabins, head and galley accommodations make living on board a comfortable experience. The forward cabin features two 6'4" berths, with shelves and storage beneath. Just aft there's a large hanging locker and a well-equipped head. The main salon there's a large convertible dinette to port which changes to a double 6'6" berth. To starboard there's a large settee with fold up pilot berth. The galley has stove, sink and lots of stowage space. There's a lot of detail that goes into a C&C and the build quality is their trademark along with good looks, excellent sailing qualities and forgiveness. Her rig is a masthead, keel-stepped mast. Her keel is made of lead and her spade rudder is controlled with wheel steering. There's lots of goodness in Sarah Jean and the owner is motivated to sell and move on and so that is why the price tag is so affordable. It's a lot of boat for the buck. The owner has moved into another boat on Lake Superior and has neither the time nor need for two boats. He exclaims that "Sarah Jean is unusually stiff and points well. She loves a good breeze." Fresh water only.
