The 1987 Catalina 36/SL is a 36 foot masthead sloop rigged keelboat designed by Frank Butler and built by Catalina Yachts. It features a length overall of 36.33 ft, a beam of 11.92 ft, a displacement of 13,500 pounds, and is powered by a 25 horsepower Universal M25 diesel engine.
The "SL" layout is renowned for its intelligent use of space, making the boat feel much larger than 36 feet.
It features true 7 person sleeping accommodations across three distinct areas. The private forward V berth and a completely enclosed aft double cabin give owners and guests excellent privacy.
