2015 PowerBoat Guide
The 4300 Convertible enjoyed a long production run for Tiara thanks to her appealing styling, upscale accommodations and a large, uncluttered fishing cockpit. She's built on a beamy modified-V hull with a stepped sheer, a shallow keel and balsa- cored hullsides. Two floorplans were offered during her production years. The standard two-stateroom, two-head layout has the gal- ley separated from the salon by a breakfast bar, and an alternate floorplan introduced in 1992 trades the guest stateroom for a large U-shaped dinette. Either way, the interior of the 4300 is luxurious, comfortable and extremely well appointed. The cockpit-large enough for several anglers and their gear-has a transom door, in-deck storage boxes, fresh- and salt-washdowns, and, beginning in 1994, direct access to the engineroom. Topside, there's plenty of space in the helm console for flush-mounting an array of elec- tronics. Additional features include overhead rod storage in the salon, wide side decks, integral bow pulpit, and a choice of teak or oak interior woodwork. The 4300 more recent models with 660hp Cats cruise in the high 20s.
