Immediately to port of the companion way is a U shaped galley. Across on the starboard side is a full forward facing navigation station and quarter berth. A U- shaped dinette with a pedestal table is forward on the port side of the main cabin with a settee on the starboard side. The table can be lowered and settee pulled out, to make double berths. Forward on the port side is the head with a separate full sized shower. To port is a Dickinson Newport cabin heater and a hanging locker with shelves. In the fore cabin lies a double berth to port with a second hanging locker and a bureau of four drawers to starboard. In the peak are two separate chain lockers. The Tayana is noted for its generous storage and beautiful teak cabinetry, and Magier is no exception. All panels are solid strip-teak faced: all lockers have louvered doors: and a beautiful "key hole" bulkhead separates the galley and the navigation station from the main cabin.

Jib poled out with 24' Forespar spinnaker pole (stored vertically on the mast) for downwind sailing. All sails are in good shape with some like new. All halyard, sheets, guys and preventers are onboard. Halyards and sheets are New England Rope Sta-Set X. Emergency fore and aft halyard fully rigged. Older lines stored below. Magier is laid out for single-handed sailing with all halyards and sheets leading aft to the cockpit. An intermediate cam-cleat on the mast allows main sails to raise either there or in the cockpit and facilitates reefing. Staysail rigged for self-tending on the tack with setting made by separate sheets to coach roof winches. Five-coach roof mounted Spinlock XT rope clutches for halyards and mainsheet. Topping lift runs to masthead then along aft stay into the cockpit. Retractable lazy jacks.
All winches are 2-speed. Aluminum Spars. Mast stepped on the deck with SS compression column to the keel. All Standing rigging is waged with 1/19 US SS wire rope. Rigged with 1/19 US SS wire rope running backstays.
