This Tayana 37 carries on the tradition for a comfortable, sea-kindly cruiser yet can be sailed by a minimal number of crew. Her current owner has upgraded the fresh water system with electric as well as a manual hand pump. In March of 2004 the VHF radio was new, secondary hand-held VHF was purchased and a Furuno radar and Magellan GPS Pro Map were installed. The batteries were new in 2003. Also new in 2004 were the dinghy, outboard, dodger, cockpit cover and the cockpit cushions.
With the replacement of the shaft, cutlass bearing and the addition of the dripless shaft seal, Cetacean should be a fine vessel for serious cruising or just enjoying Southern California coastal waters.
