Brokers Remarks: Where else can you pick up a classic with a fairly new engine, replacement barrier coat completed and this vessel is an "old salt" with good lines and excellent capabilities. Latest updates were done in 2005 to include: new(2005) J.R.C. Radar/GPS/PLOTTER 1800-c series, Autohelm 2000 auto pilot. Massive sailing upgrades to include: New main sail, New Stay Sail, New Genoa, New Life Lines, New Dodger, New Solar Panel, New Airex Wind Generator, New Cape Horn Self Steering Vane, New Forestay, New Bobstay, Halyards have been updated and some replaced.
HERE IS THE STORY: I sold this boat to a nice man that wanted to sail away and sail to all parts known and that many dream of going. He rigged the boat out in the beginning of 2005 and set sail for parts in southern lat/long. He made it all the way to Belize and points in the middle, keys, Bahamas islands, almost to Cuba but was turned away buy our special coast guard for not applying for a permit, so he then went to Guatemala, then to Belize. Well, guess what happened in the middle, he met the love of his life in the keys while filling up on staples, and then ran into her again in Belize. They are now to be married. Sailed the yacht back to Pensacola and she is now for sail. She has sailed and been loaded with all bluewater features and is ready for the next salty sailor to make the bluewater dream a reality. We cannot however guarantee you will find the one for you or get rid of the one you have if you are not happy, but we can say that this massive potential sailing yacht is ready if you are!
