This 2004 Sea Ray 280 Sundancer is well maintained, kept in dry storage, and is ready for a new owner.
The Sea Ray 280 is a perfect-sized cruiser. This boat is fully equipped, whether you want to day cruise, hang out at the sand bar or want to stay overnight.
The twin Mercruiser engines provided plenty of power.
The layout has plenty of room for cruising or staying aboard. The cockpit has comfortable seating. The captain has a comfortable overstuffed seat, the passenger sits opposite in a comfortable L-shaped seat.
The cabin is spacious and can sleep up to 6. The forward berth is spacious, the settee drops down to sleep two and there is a large mid-berth.
The galley has a refrigerator, sink, microwave, and stovetop. The walk-in head is ample-sized and has a full-length mirror. You can keep cool with the generator powering up the ac unit.
***CONDITION OF VESSEL***
The exterior gel coat was clean. The keel and bottom of the hull look damage free. The swim platform has sustained some dock rash with noticeable repairs. The lower units look to be in good shape with no obvious corrosion.
The cockpit has foam decking material that looks nice, however, it has been trimmed to fit. The exterior cushions have some worn-out tears and staining. The cover looks to be in good condition, the Bimini top may need stitching repair.
The helm looks decent, there are some cracked gauges, and the main center LCD readout looks inoperable.
The cabin is showing its wear and tear. There are some stains and rips in the cushions. The cabin sump pump is missing, and the bilge under the steps is full of water. The mid-berth had what appeared to be the aft bench seat stored inside.
The engine compartment was clean. The hatch lift supports are missing. The starboard engine looks original and the port engine assembly has clearly been changed.
