"Skana II" is a gorgeous blue-hulled Sabre 386, built out of Maine, USA. A classic-looking beauty designed with performance and offshore cruising in mind. She has two large cabins with a convertible settee to Port and long settee to Starboard to sleep 7 total. Gorgeous Cherry interior with teak and holly sole. Classic Main.

Features include:

  • Diesel Heating
  • Good electronics - Raymarine chartplotter with radar, wind, speed and depth instruments, and autopilot
  • Spacious Galley - Double sinks, 3-burner stove and oven, refrigerator and freezer, nice cabinetry.
  • Great care and maintenance. Boat shows great inside and out.
  • The Sabre 386 was launched in January 2004 and in October 2004 was awarded Cruising World Magazine’s Boat of the Year Award as Best Mid-sized Performance Cruiser as well as Overall Domestic Boat of the Year.

Reviews:

"The exterior stainless steel on the 386 is absolutely flawless; the interior joinery, all in cherry, likewise seems only to improve with each new generation. [...] Other things that impressed me include the deep keel sump (about 2 feet), the centerline galley sinks, the accessible engine space, the superior construction quality, and the excellent handholds throughout the interior." - Sail Magazine

On Interior Layout: "The 386 modernizes the traditional interior layout with large bunks fore and aft, [...] the objective was to find some balance between "accommodation" and "storage." The trend of modern designs is to focus more narrowly on creature comforts, sometimes at the expense of practical concerns like locker space. The typical 386 owner will not try to stow six months worth of canned goods aboard the boat, but they should be able to stow the essentials for an offshore passage." - Sailing Magazine

On Performance: "We saw 15 knots of wind from the west with gusts to 20 during the test sail and the deep-keel version of the 386, which draws 6 feet, 10 inches proved stiff and accelerated well in the puffs. She was easy to handle and felt sporty for a luxury cruising boat, seeming lighter than her actual weight. Sabre estimates a PHRF rating of 81, and it's not unreasonable to expect that a certain number of owners will be inspired to enter club races that they might avoid in another boat." - Sailing Magazine
