The CHINOOK is a 1994 model SABRE 362 with the desirable Wing Keel option that provides excellent performance and a nominal 4'8" draft too. The S362 was one of the most popular .. and successful .. designs by Jim Taylor for SABRE YACHTS over the years and the CHINOOK is the 29th example of 120 produced through 2003! The combination of outstanding performance, a great cockpit, an effective (2) stateroom layout with a separate stall shower, very good interior joinery and attractive & traditional lines make the SABRE 362 a sought-after "performance cruiser" in today's market.
The CHINOOK had her topsides finished with Dark Blue AWLGRIP in 2002. At that time, the boot-tops & cover stripe had the White AWLGRIP treatment as well. The RAYMARINE ST290 Series performance & RL70C navigation (including GPS, chart plotter & radar) electronics and ST290 autopilot make for a nice, effective & up-to-date package. The SUNBRELLA Dark Blue dodger & Bimini are in excellent condition. The cruising sail inventory includes a UK SAILMAKERS Main w/ a DUTCHMAN Sail Flaking System, a 150% Genoa & an Asymmetrical spinnaker.
The CHINOOK is offered for brokerage sail as her Owners are looking to both downsize and to accommodate travel plans as well. With only two Owners since the 1994 Season, her superior overall condition & equipage is a hard-to-find commodity in today's brokerage marketplace. As her asking price has just been dramatically reduced, appointments for viewings for the CHINOOK are encouraged!

The Biggest Pros and Cons
The 1994 Sabre 362 Wing Keel offers a blend of classic design and practical features, making it a popular choice among sailors. Here are some pros and cons to consider:
Pros
Shallow Draft: The wing keel design provides a shallower draft, allowing access to more coastal and shallow waters without sacrificing much in terms of stability or performance.
Solid Construction: Known for its sturdy build quality, the Sabre 362 features a robust hull and deck, ensuring durability and safety in various conditions.
Comfortable Layout: The interior is thoughtfully designed with ample living space, including comfortable sleeping quarters, a functional galley, and a well-appointed head, making it suitable for extended cruising.
Good Performance: Despite the wing keel, the boat maintains respectable upwind performance and handling, offering a balanced sailing experience.
Classic Aesthetics: The Sabre 362 carries timeless lines and a traditional look that appeals to sailors who appreciate classic yacht styling.
Cons
Weight: The solid construction and materials contribute to a heavier displacement, which can impact acceleration and light-wind performance compared to lighter boats.
Maintenance: Being a vessel from 1994, it may require more upkeep and potential updates to systems and equipment, depending on its maintenance history.
Limited Modern Features: The design reflects the era in which it was built, so it may lack some modern conveniences or advanced technologies found on newer sailboats.
Wing Keel Complexity: While offering advantages, the wing keel can sometimes collect debris or seaweed more easily and may be more challenging to free if grounded compared to a traditional fin keel.
