The Arthur Edmunds-designed S2 9.2A is an attractive 30' cruising sloop with over 500 having been made. MISHAN's owner purchased her in 1995 and appears to have given her good care. Note 2017 Doyle fully-battened Stackpack mainsail, 2019 Doyle high-cut 130% genoa, and newer Raymarine sailing instruments. MISHAN is out of the water and may be easily inspected. Seller is reluctantly selling due to his advancing age.

Sleeps 5/6.  Vee berth forward.  Enclosed head with Jabsco marine toilet, vanity next aft to port, hanging lockers opposite to starboard.  Main cabin with L-shaped dinette to port, settee opposite to starboard.  Galley aft of settee, Nav station and quarterberth aft to starboard. Broan stainless steel 110 volt cabin heater.

L-shaped galley features Camp Chef one-burner butane stove, ice box fitted with Adler Barbour 12 volt refrigeration, stainless steel sink, cold pressurized water.

Electrical

12 volt DC and 110 volt AC dockside systems.  12 volt system includes two 12 volt batteries, Perko battery selector switch, circuit breaker distribution panel.  110 volt AC dockside system includes 30 amp shore power cord, circuit breaker distribution panel. Sea Ranger 2500 battery charger/converter.

Electronics and Navigation

Lowrance Elite-7 HDI chartplotter/GPS in cockpit, Garmin GPS 198 at nav station, Standard Horizon VHF radio transceiver at nav station.  Raymarine ST-60 apparent windspeed/direction indicator, and Tridata (knot/log/depth). Ritchie SP-5 pedestal-mounted compass.

Engine and Mechanical

1981 Yanmar 2GM two-cylinder, 13 horsepower, raw-water-cooled diesel engine. Three-blade bronze propeller.

Hull and Deck

Blue topsides, green bottom, off-white deck, and white boot stripe. Shoal fin keel with skeg-hung rudder. External lead ballast. Edson pedestal wheel steering. Foredeck anchor locker. Double lifelines.  Gates port and starboard. One overhead opening hatch. Solar vent. Midship cleats. 

Sails and Rigging

Single spreader deck-stepped mast. Schaefer System 1100 roller-furling system (2019) for headsails. Sail inventory includes 2017 Doyle Stackpack full-battened mainsail with lazy jacks and 2019 Doyle high-cut 130% genoa. Harken mainsheet system and traveler. Boom vang with line led aft to cockpit. Second jib halyard. Halyards led aft to cockpit. Lewmar winch inventory includes two #30 self-tailing genoa sheet winches, two coachroof-mounted #8 halyard/vang winches.

Additional Inventory

Blue bimini, cockpit cushions, teak cockpit table, teak drink holder. Sirius Signal SOS C-1001 night visual distress sgnal. AM/FM/CD stereo with two speakers in main cabin. Bulkhead-mounted clock and inclinometer, screens for  companionway. Solar shower. Lifesling. Fortress FX-11 aluminum anchor with chain and nylon anchor rode. Flare kit (expired), air horn, fire extinguisher, two buoyant cushions, boat hook, manual and electric bilge pumps. Three fenders, assorted docklines.
