RUBICON is a classic Carl Alberg-designed Cape Dory 27 whose time has now come for new ownership. She needs a new mainsail, her exterior brightwork needs refinishing, cockpit sole needs work, and generally she needs attention. Here is an opportunity to inexpensively acquire a boat with good bones and turn her again into an able and beautiful small yacht.

Solid glass lay-up hull, full keel with attached rudder, balsa-cored deck, six Spartan bronze-framed ports, overhead opening hatch, three dorade vents, missing one cowl. Edson pedestal wheel steering, double lifelines with starboard boarding gate, stainless steel transom-mounted swim ladder with teak treads, bow anchor roller. Foredeck anchor locker. White topsides, tan non-skid deck, red boot stripe, blue bottom.
Deck-stepped single spreader mast. Sail inventory includes working jib. No mainsail. Two bronze Lewmar #16 two-speed primary genoa sheet winches. Three coachroof-mounted line clutches.
