The Regal 2300 RX Surf builds upon the success of the standard 2300 model by integrating the RX Surf package, which combines power and comfort with a host of specialized features tailored for wake sports enthusiasts. Central to this model is the availability of a 350 horsepower Generation 5 Volvo V8 engine equipped with the Volvo Penta forward drive, designed specifically to enhance towered water sports by increasing the distance between riders and propellers and venting engine exhaust underwater for rider comfort.
Exterior Design and Swim Platform
At the stern, the Regal 2300 RX Surf features a swim platform covered with a gray SeaDek material that remains soft and cool to the touch while providing excellent non-skid properties, an important safety consideration for frequent water access. The swim platform includes a boarding ladder on the starboard side; however, with only three rungs, it may present some difficulty for larger guests reboarding. The boat is equipped with three ballast tanks—one forward tank located beneath the deck adjacent to the helm seat and two aft tanks positioned on either side of the engine. These tanks hold up to 1,500 pounds of water and can be filled or emptied in approximately three minutes, allowing precise control over wake size and shape. Notably, the wake can be shifted from one side of the boat to the other while underway.

For cruising, the optimal setting is 4,000 RPM, where the boat travels at 30.9 miles per hour, consumes 9.1 gallons per hour, and offers a range of approximately 171 statute miles.
