Duchess' steel hull and centerboard keel are the perfect platform for ultimate world cruising. The strength and capability of the steel hull, paired with a centerboard keel allows Duchess to weather rugged Northwest Passages, Ocean Crossings and Alaskan Voyage, as well as the ability to explore the pristine shallow waters of the Bahamas and beyond.
Duchess' interior is the classic boat aficionado's dream. The mahogany joinery woodwork and bronze fixtures are immaculate. It's details must be seen to be truly appreciated. Genuine leather upholstery throughout.
Upon entry, the pilothouse port side dinette features seating for 8, and a drop down option for an additional berth. The starboard side features a full size navigation station and quarterberth. Windows provide 360 degree visibility.
Step down from the pilothouse, and to starboard is a long seating area opposite the galley. The centerboard case acts as an island for the galley, and also features a fold down panel that turns the opporiste seating into a bar-like table.
To port aft of the galley is a private cabin with a queen sized berth.
Forward of the private cabin are separate shower stall and head compartment. The head has been converted to a composting style.
Forward of the galley to port is an an owner's cabin with a full size berth.
