Wind and Sea Upgrades
2019 - haul out.
1. Bottom paint complete removal and rebuild system with 3 topcoats of Intersleek 1100SR - make sure diver knows only soft pad. No scratch or abrasive cleaning. Still looks like new. Been cleaned on regular schedule. Very expensive paint so we took care of it.
2. Rudder removed and post rebuilt.
3. Mast removed and base rebuilt with Purple Heart wood.
4. All new wiring from top of mast to electrical panel.
5. New radio wire and antenna installed.
6. All new standing rigging. Uppers were upgraded for durability.
Post haul out.
1. Ceiling removed and new wood replaced and painted. 1/2" Medex moisture-resistant MDF panel and epoxy from marine exchanged used.
2. Industrial grade solar panel added 350 watt with Renogy mmpt charger installed.
3. 3 - 100amp lithium house batteries installed. Only connected to solar panel for charging.
4. New start battery but only charged by alternator. Needs trickle charger or decided wired between that and house.
5. New aft water tank 25 gals I think
6. New 110v/12v fridge - name brand and size
7. New anchor chain. 3/8" G4 -45' and 150' rode &35# COR anchor. We are going to take and maybe swap with 41 setup for short term anchoring solutions. For us. Then it will be a back up later.
8. New front hatch rebuilt with plastic wood
9. New hatch doors with plastic wood.
10. New lazarrete hatch with plastic wood and seafoam or whatever they stuff
11. New led lights run thru all 12 volt. 1 - kitchen switch to control ceiling. 1 remote to control side lights thst go thru bathroom and v-berth.
12. 110v and speaker system with Bluetooth capability.
13. Holding tank and black water hoses including vent line replace when we originally bought boat. 15 gal.
14. Installed macerator for out at sea.
