In 1997, Blue Water Sailing did a review of the Pearson 424, calling it a “...sound trade wind boatâ€?. I have seen this proven myself on a New York/Antigua delivery and the Owner of VITRAIN has certainly erased any doubts by living aboard and cruising her since 1980. He has been up and down the East Coast, all through the Caribbean, 2 Transatlantics, England, Holland and the Mediterranean, including Croatia and Turkey. VITRAIN is well equipped and has received some impressive maintenance over the years and recently. She is well worth a close look by anyone who would like to own a serious cruising sailboat that is comfortable and well mannered.
