EMMI is a two-cabin center cockpit cutter rigged sloop sailboat with the added benefit of a dedicated utility/workroom. Dual walk-through passageways via the galley (starboard) and utility room (port) provide easy access to the aft master stateroom. The interior is bright, open, and airy, featuring beautiful teak joinery and finishes throughout, complemented by tasteful leather upholstery. Ventilation and natural lighting are exceptional thanks to numerous large opening hatches and portlights, all fitted with removable insect screens. Four large adjustable dorade cowl vents provide continuous airflow to the main salon and aft cabin during inclement weather while also helping prevent mold and mildew.
Forward is the guest stateroom, featuring a V-berth, ensuite head, and separate shower stall. Outboard of the berth are lockers and bookshelves, while additional storage is available beneath the berth, in a hanging locker, and within a shelf locker.
Aft of the guest stateroom is the spacious main salon, offering a U-shaped dinette with both large and small table inserts to port and a settee to starboard. A removable table for the settee effectively converts the space into two individual chairs, while the settee itself serves as an excellent sea berth when the table is stowed, complete with a lee cloth. The fully equipped aft-facing navigation station is located to starboard, just aft of the settee, and is positioned conveniently near the companionway steps for quick cockpit access. Exceptional storage is found throughout the salon, including behind both settees and within numerous lockers.
Continuing aft along the starboard side is the large walk-through galley, thoughtfully designed for offshore passagemaking and equipped with generous countertop space for preparing gourmet meals. Features include a deep double-level top-entry freezer, a multi-level refrigerator with both top and front access, and a double sink with fresh and raw water foot pedals supplementing the pressurized water system. The galley is also equipped with a Seagull water purifier and Grohe faucet. A microwave oven and gimbaled three-burner gas range with oven make cooking onboard both practical and convenient.
To port, aft of the main salon, is the utility/workroom, complete with a workbench, tool lockers, and a convertible space pre-wired with AC electrical service for a washer/dryer installation. The Yanmar diesel engine is easily accessible through double-door access panels in both the galley and utility room, as well as beneath the companionway stairs, providing excellent mechanical access for maintenance and service.
The master stateroom is accessible from either the galley or utility room and features a queen-sized island berth with countertop space, lockers, and bookshelves on either side. Additional storage includes four drawers beneath the berth, two large hanging lockers, and a shelf locker. The ensuite head, located to port aft of the utility room, includes a separate shower stall. Both heads are equipped with raw-water Thetford electric flush toilets.
