"PASSPORT"

THE NAME SPEAKS FOR ITSELF

COMFORTABLE  BLUEWATER PASSAGES, EASE OF HANDLING, EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY AND... PROPERLY EQUIPPED TO TAKE YOU ANYWHERE FROM THE NEXT ANCHORAGE TO AROUND THE WORLD...

"WINTERLUDE" IS THAT BOAT!!!

Buy a beautiful, fully equipped cruising sailboat already in paradise!  From Florida's west coast you can easily cruise the Keys, venture further afield to the Exumas/Bahamas or even the Western or Eastern Caribbean.

After 15 years of ownership and 7 years of serious cruising the owners have decided that it is time to move on to new adventures. s/v Winterlude is now reluctantly for sale.

The Passport 37 was designed by famed yacht designer Robert Perry in response to demand for a smaller, more performance oriented design yet retaining the cutaway keel and protected skeg-hung rudder preferred for long-distance, performance cruising. It is said to be one of his favorite designs

The Owners find the boat is ideal for them, as a couple, to handle with sufficient tankage, ample storage and a sea-kindly motion making long passages comfortably. Since cruising boats spend 90% of their time at anchor she’s also ideal for spending extended time aboard.

Pros

Sturdy Build: The Passport 37 features a robust fiberglass hull and reliable construction, making it durable and seaworthy for extended cruising.

Spacious Interior: Designed with comfort in mind, it offers ample living space with well-laid-out cabins and a functional galley, suitable for liveaboard or long passages.

Traditional Aesthetics: Classic lines and a timeless design appeal to sailors who appreciate traditional styling combined with practical functionality.

Good Storage: Ample storage space throughout the boat allows for efficient organization of gear and provisions.

Cons

Older Design: As a model from 1985, some design elements and onboard systems may feel dated compared to more modern cruisers, potentially requiring updates or upgrades.

Limited Speed: While stable and comfortable, it is not designed for high-speed sailing and may perform slower in light wind conditions.

Maintenance Demands: Being a vintage vessel, it may require more regular maintenance and inspection to keep all systems in optimal working order.
