COMPLETELY REBUILT/REFITTED IN 1998!!!
JABULA is truly a "One of a Kind" vessel. Originally dubbed BARBARIAN, she was a custom built aluminum racing yacht. Designed by Doug Peterson and commissioned in1975 at a cost of over $250,000, she was a state of the art racer. Her current owner, a professional carpenter/boat builder, purchased the boat in 1994 and stripped her down to the bare hull, totally refitting the boat over four years. She now has a completely reconfigured aluminum cabin top and cockpit with interior joinery that rivals that of any custom yacht. He also reduced the draft from 7'6" to just 6'2" and added a bulb for ballast. In 2018 & 19 she received additional updates including a new power plant(engine, transmission, shaft and prop), new batteries(4), new refrigeration, all new standing rigging, and more. This year the entire vessel was painted with a two part urethane paint as well as new bottom paint and a new 15hp Suzuki outboard for the tender. If you are looking for a fast cruising boat, you don't want to miss this one!
