The Bill Crealock designed Offshore Yachts 48 Yachtfisher.
This is the version with the larger VIP/guest head and separate stall shower to starboard of the galley, and larger VIP forward stateroom. Far more luxurious accommodations for your guests than the other version.
This example is gorgeous, not only in her designed lines but in her overall condition, and has been maintained by a caring owner.
The Cummins engines are in excellent running condition. See video of startup, including high def audio of cold start with instant firing, healthy motor-sounds from the engine room, and robust exhaust notes from the stern.
Note: Please do not expect a boat in new condition. She's 40 years old. However, she compares favorably against other yachts in category.
Entering through the aft top-deck companionway, you descend down a semi-spiral staircase into the wide salon, drenched in natural sunlight from several large windows. The L-wrap settee is to port, displaying its lovely varnished table. To starboard are 2 comfortable chairs.
Going forward, the lower helm is to starboard, which includes a nautical trawler-type side door for quick access to the open side decks. A handy feature when picking up a mooring in Catalina. In fact, there are side doors on both sides of the salon at that location.
The interior is constructed of hand-joined teak, with teak cabin sole. The cushions and carpets are in outstanding condition.
Going forward, the fully equipped galley is to port, with a cozy bar snuggled up to it, and the VIP/guest head is to starboard.
All the way forward is the roomy VIP stateroom, with multiple hanging lockers and opening ports.
Turning around and going all the way aft, enter the master stateroom from the salon. You can also walk through to the aft cockpit from the master stateroom. It has all the space and features expected of a captain's suite in a yacht of this type, including a private head with separate walk-in shower.
A fantastic layout with an enormous interior showcasing timeless livability, and nautical beauty. And, even with the aft-cabin suite and spaciously luxurious salon and forward stateroom, there is also a big beautiful cockpit aft for multi-purpose adventuring, such as offshore fishing, island lounging, easy dinghy boarding for excursions, or dockside parties with friends. All in 48 feet!
And if that's not enough outdoor space, there is a furnished aft top-deck with roomy accommodations, and a sunny flybridge with another settee and upper control station. Not to mention the massive foredecks which can be used for their own sort of relaxing and sunbathing.
Plus there is dinghy storage and a hoist on the aft-deck hard top.
