OVERVIEW
42 Ocean Alexander "Classico Sedan" is a stylish sedan cruiser from the design board of the highly regarded Ed Monk, Jr. Sheââ?¬â?¢s built on a modified-V hull with a shallow, prop-protecting keel, prop pockets, and a wide beam. Her standard galley-up floorplan includes two staterooms with a centerline queen berth in the ownerââ?¬â?¢s cabin and single berths in the guest stateroom. The head comes with a separate stall shower, and a sliding deck door at the lower helm provides convenient access to the foredeck. The salon dimensions of the 426 Classico are quite generous in spite of the wide side decks. In a departure from most sedan layouts, thereââ?¬â?¢s a second portside deck door abaft the galley in the salonââ?¬â??a nice touch. Topside, the extended flybridge can accommodate an 11-foot inflatable. Additional features include a full teak interior, radar mast, and a transom door. Her Twin 350hp Cat diesels give a good cruise speed of 16-17 knots and about a 20 knot Top end.
NOTE: Her owners cruise her comfortably and economically at 8-9 knots and her fuel consumption is relatively minimal with 6+/- GPH (combined both engines !!) reported burn on a recent trip to Key West.
BROKER REMARKS
Extremely well kept "Rare" 42 OA CLASSICO SEDAN powered by 2 low hour Caterpillar diesels. She'll cruise economically the way her owners run her but has enough speed to outrun a storm or get you to your destination more quickly if needed. The interior and exterior are in great condition, The interior is as close to a new one as you can get in a 1999 model boat. From her low hours, you can tell the boat has been lightly used and pampered since new. Current owners purchased her in 2011 and have cruised the Florida Keys and the Bahamas. Continually updated and well maintained.
Detailed maintenance Log onboard for prospective new owners
NOTE: She was just out of the water last week of January 2020, freshly bottom painted, re-zinc'd and hull sides waxed. PRIME SLIP possibly available in Fort Pierce, FL. close to the Fort Pierce Inlet.
