Barefootin is an excellent example of this Bob Perry design as the current owners have true pride of ownership and it shows.The present owners have cruised her from the Chesapeake to the Caribbean for the past 15 years and are only selling her to move to a smaller multihull. All systems have been meticulously maintained and upgraded over the years and a major refit took place in 2007 including teak decks removed, hull and deck Awlgripped, new Forespar mast w/ in mast furling,New Chainplates and all standing rigging replaced. New Harken Roller Furlers for Jib and Staysail, sails replaced, Wells Marine custom stern arch for davits, solar panels, wind generator and dinghy davits. Other more recent upgrades include:Complete Galley overhaul in 2014 including new Corian countertops and backsplash, improved insulation for Fridge/Freezer, two new Seafrost BDXPX 12v compressors, new ss sinks and fixtures 600 watt microwave, General Ecology water filtration system, foot pumps for fresh and salt water.
