Redshift has been refitted over the last few years and with her self-steering Wind Vane she is
ready to go places. Her port of call is in the Long Island Sound and together we have been up
and down the East Coast from Florida to Martha's Vineyard.
Designed by C&C Design as PHRF racer/cruiser and built by Capital Yachts Corp, The Newport
41s is surprising comfortable in big seas, bringing the concept of the dual-purpose boat
together with her high-performance characteristics and her comfortable teak interior.
She is a masthead sloop with a keel stepped mast, a swept fin keel, a hull speed of 7.34kn, a
PHRF racing handicap of 114, and is built of solid fiberglass.
The 3rd Owner and she comes with the Original owner's manual
Forward there is a full width v-berth (6'6")
Main Cabin
The main cabin has a U-shaped table to port and a couch that is also a double berth to
starboard on the opposite side. Further aft are a full chart table to starboard and a quarter
berth.
The U-shaped galley is immediately to port of the companion way opposite the chart table with
ample storage under the forward-facing counter.
The boat has freshly varnished Teak Interior w/ Teak and Holly Floors and all the cushions have
been recently reupholstered.

freshwater foot pump for water and electric conservation offshore.
